Unsaid Fate is about destiny, and lead vocalist Jackie Laponza is creating a heavy dose of intense music in the Cleveland area as she leads her band to a new dimension with a powerful and intense sound.

Unsaid Fate is on their first tour headlining shows down the East coast and to Florida.  They are a band to watch for in 2013 as they pick up the pace on shows in the New Year.  The band released a song Our Addiction which is featured on the group’s new EP “Never Turning Back” produced by Don DeBiase.  The New EP will be released on I-Tunes on February 12th.

“To us it means we are going to create our own destiny, said Laponza.  We are so excited it’s been in the world for a long time and finally ready to come out.”

Jackie LaPonza has been belting out hard driven edgy pop rock straight from the gut delivered with a ferocious passion and intensity that is a must see.  If there is ever someone you can say, ‘you had to be there’, it is Jackie who is worth every second of her performance on stage.

Jackie has fronted her band Jackie that includes Brothers Matt and Mike who are both drummers since 1995.  The band is filled out with Patrick Ols on guitar and Mike Donovan on bass.  LaPonza has been featured in Germany’s famous Revolver Magazine as one of the ‘hottest ’women in music.

FATE & DESTINY--UNSAID FATE

With influences like Pat Benatar, No Doubt, Green Day, Cream and Aerosmith, Jackie delivers intensity that melts the stage and fuels the energy of every live performance.  Not only does she have her brothers in the band, but her dad played a role into her early introduction into music as he played drums in a local band during the 70’s.   Her brothers were playing in their first band in grade school.  Jackie was also quick to get into music at age 7 and has been doing music for most of her life.

I grew up with music, Laponza said.    My dad jammed in his band and managed bands and at one time had Trent Resner in our basement as one of my dad’s roadies.  It is kind of a musical background as far as my family goes.  I have two of my brothers in the band as well.

I was seven when I first started.  My older brother actually had his first band when he was in first grade.  I was really young.  I have gone through many bands and band members.

Along with the new name, the band will also release a 4-song EP.  “That is what we are working on, said Laponza.  We are recording it at Studio d and is produced by Don Diabosi.

Also look for a different image.  Laponza said, “Since we are changing the name I am sure that we will find the image that fits us and a whole marketing concept which reflects us.  The Songs are progressively changing to a harder style than what we started out so we focused on what we were headed towards with a certain couple songs, and honed it into four songs and it is something we are proud of.  It is Tense, Faithful,  and Fear Inside.  The recording have been going great.

I Just hope to get on a good tour this year and get our music out there too to the masses.  People hear us and people see us.  Just to enjoy it.

I think growing up and having teachers come and having realistic dreams is a big one, just doing it for so long and really not getting to the point that I have wanted to get to yet and that I will not be able to rest until I get there, besides I don’t think the music in my blood is going anywhere and it is going to be there forever…

In addition to playing music, Jackie and her brothers opened a bar in Parma called Bar Code.

My brothers and I just bought a bar--we opened in January and it is giving me grey hairs.  It is called Bar Code.

As for Bar Code, Laponza said, “its a very classy comfortable environment its gotta a downtown dance club feel with plenty of free parking and better prices we have our wonderful day crowd like the other corner bars that come to see one of our beautiful and very personable ladies slinging drinks we also have the best gyros in town along with slaw dogs regular and jumbo dogs and some amazing bbq pulled pork sandwiches we are known as the "Best Bar in the Burbs" yes we have some new photos and a new site to go along with the new name Facebook you can take those photos and if you need a better version of those or any others please email my guitar player Patrick at our new band email which is unsaidfate@gmail.com hope this all helps rock on
