Robert Belushi is starring on the Joe Schmo show on Spike TV that airs Thursday nights.  The Joe Schmo show is a reality 'television hoax' show that was created by Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese.  The show revolves around the premise that a target person is led to believe that they are actually contestants on a reality show, but, in reality--all of the other participants in the show (including the host)--are actually actors.  The actions and the outcome of the purported show are all scripted in an attempt to elicit comedic reactions from the targets.   The show is in it's thirds season which premiered on January 8, 2013.  Belushi plays Allen-'The Buddy' character in the show.
