The Cleveland Fusion is a Women’s Full-tackle Football Team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Fusion played in the National Women’s Football Association (NWFL) from their inception in 2002 until 2008. While the Fusion was a part of the NWFA they had become one of the premiere teams with the 2007 season was highlighted by a strong playoff run that led to the Conference Championship game for the first time in team history. The Fusion fell to the 2007 NWFA Champion Pittsburgh Passion in the Conference Finals.
