Go-Go's Still Going.
Who remembers growing up with the Go-Go’s music blaring in their ears? Maybe you had an older sibling who listened to them, or a friend, or maybe you, yourself, are a fan of one of the most successful all-female rock band ever. The Go-Go’s are still go-going hot, and just this year, they’re touring around the country. Walt Disney World, watch out! Here the Go-Go’s come.
I know when the Go-Go’s came out, there were a few people doubting the abilities of an all-female rock band, but they blew past expectations and nobody would’ve thought that they would still be rocking out so many years later. Mention the Go-Go’s to an older family member, and I’m sure you would have them smile, thinking about nostalgic memories of when they were young and used to rock out to their music. This journey started in 1978, and is still going right here in 2013.
I wonder what songs from “Beauty and The Beast” they’ll play this time around. I’m sure it will be an amazing sight to see. You might even see me there, waving them on.
