Revival Tour 2013

The Revival Tour

The Revival Tour, founded by former Hot Water Music front man Chuck Ragan makes its yearly stop in Cleveland on April 4th at the Grog Shop.  This largely overlooked tour is now in its 6th year, and always delivers one of the best acoustic and Americana shows of the year. Multiple musicians jump on and off the tour, but it is always headlined by Ragan.  Other notable names on the tour are Dave Hause of the Loved Ones, Tim McIlrath of Rise Against, and Toh Kay of punk/ ska band Streetlight Manifesto, however only Dave Hause will be appearing at the Cleveland date.

The Grog Shop provides a perfect intimate setting for a show like this, as the camaraderie amongst the musicians and fans is what truly makes the show special.  This is music for people who love music.  There are no flashy lights, or backup dancers, or auto-tune, just acoustic guitars, fiddles, and the occasional banjo.  The show often turns into a multi-hour jam fest with the diehard fans still singing every word.  If you’re a fan of folk, Americana, or anything acoustic this is not a show to be missed, as it’s truly a hidden gem on the concert calendar.

The show is on Thursday April 4th at 9 pm.  Tickets are still available and are $16 in advance and $18 the day of show. Assuming they last that long.
